Drive-In, Drive-through Pallet Racking storage
systems allow selection of a batch of pallets
in storage. Rows of pallet storage lanes are arranged
with operating aisles between them, to allow transport
and access to storage lanes. Storage lanes can
be 2, to any no. of pallets deep. However, lanes
over 7 pallets deep should be carefully considered
to minimised pallet handling difficulties, ensure
pallet turnover and storage position losses are
minimised and safety is not jeopardised. Aisle
widths are determined by handling equipment requirements.
Storage is in a Last-In-First-Out (LIFO) arrangement.
