| The
Tech-Link SafetyLock racking system has been carefully
engineered and tested to suit the most demanding
logistics applications. It is manufactured to
the most stringent standards to maximize safety
and ensure efficient integration of storage, materials
handling and operating systems. A wide range of
SafetyLock products and systems allow for configurations
ranging fron simple low-rise storage applications
to the most sophisticated high-rise Automated
Storage and Retrieval Systems. Tech-Link SafetyLock
racking is engineered for simplicity and efficiency
to minimise installation time, reduce dependence
on installer skills and maintain high standards
and safety. |
THE
SAFETYLOCK
BEAM CONNECTOR |
|
|
| The
SafetyLock Beam Connector is the result of extensive
testing on specially developed test rigs. It is
designed to increase resistance to sideways sway
moments and effectively take vertical loads and
moments on specially designed high performance
hooks. The high performance hooks provide ultimate
strength, rigidity and stability within the rack
structure. SafetyLock Beam Connectors are factory
fitted with a self locking safety device to prevent
dislodgement of the beams from the upright column
when subjected to upward forces. The new 'beam
on the connector' position increase system rigidity
and resistance to impact loads. The SafetyLock
Beam Connector output performance is rated 50%
higer than most other pallet racking connectors.

MATERIAL
AND SAFETY FACTORS
SafetyLock frames and beams are manufactured
from high performance cold steel rolled
which has built-in minimum safety factor
on yield of 1.65:1
DESIGN STANDARDS
Tech-Link SafetyLock Pallet
Rack has been designed using the Australian
Standard AS 4084-1993 and AS 4084 Supp 1
1993. This standard is predominantly based
on the American Rack Manufacture Institute
Specification (RM) when used at its lower
tier, although it also takes information
from the British Storage Equipment Manufactures
Association (SEMA) and the European Racking
Code FEM 10.2.02 for the higer tiers of
the standard.
